The Automated Fan Test Plenum has been developed for testing of air moving devices (i.e. fans) in accordance industry standard ISO 10302. The plenum is designed to provide an aerodynamic load that simulates the flow conditions typical operational conditions for the fan, in a test fixture that is acoustially neutral. Integrated sensors provide pressure drop, fan RPM and estimated flow volume. The automated fan plenum is fully software controllable from the laboratory control room.
