Overview
- PXI Expansion Chassis extend the PCI bus outside of the host computer to allow installation of multiple devices
- Supports high channel count systems and systems with varying I/O requirements
- Expansion interfaces for desktop PC’s (PCIexpress) and notebook PC’s (Express Card)
- Typical chassis used are the PXIe-1073 (5 slot) and the PXIe-1082 (8 slot)
National Instruments PXI interface and chassis are our preferred form factor for laboratory measurement systems and high channel count systems.
