Overview
Reverberation chambers are engineered to satisfy the environmental conditions required to measure sound power output of noise sources when directivity characteristics are not required. Reverberation chambers are also appropriate for measurement of sound absorption and transmission loss characteristics of materials.
Reverberation Chambers are used to satisfy industry standards such as:
- ISO 3741 Sound Power Level Determination
- ASTM E90 Sound Transmission Loss
- ASTM C423 Sound Absoprtion
