Overview
This microphone array test fixture was designed and built by the VIacoustics team and validated in an ISO 17025 certified hemi-anechoic chamber to be fully compliant with ISO 3744 table/figure B1. Unlike the GRAS fixture this fixture is meant for all sound source types, rather than only broadband noise sources.
The microphone boom arms are quick-release and marked in the correct positions on delivery. The fixture’s octagonal frame folds in half and is free-standing so it can be stored out of the way easily. The fixture can be set up by a single person in about 20 minutes.
