VIacoustics Response Switch and Attenuator Control Unit

This unit has three main functions:

1. A hub for connecting optical and mechanical response switches that the subject uses to signal during a test. This unit communicates with the NI PXI-6220 which feeds the signals to REATPro.
2. Software controlled switching of the VIacoustics High-Power Attenuator (L-pad) lets the user decide when the attenuator should be in use via our REATPro Software.
3. Intercom control. The talk back microphone is muted while the talk forward microphone is in use to eliminate the possibility of feedback.
